Corporate companies are huge business that sells consumer products. Whilst computers can help to speed up the business for increased sales, due to lack of computer fundamental knowledge, these companies buy software products for the benefits and get tightly coupled with softwares, in other words, they become dependent. This becomes a case that, it becomes an essential expense for organisation.
With a stable, rigid structure, and fixed roles and responsibilities for individual designation it is very unlikely to convince the leaders because their brain has also become rigid.
