"make machine work for me than me working for the machine"

That's the dream I had, and I learnt it. My name is Vetri or Vetrivel Shanmugam or Vicky or Victor Gnanaraj. Names by my parents, grandparents got me confused. Hence I named myself Shan or grasshopper.

I'm born on 1991 Feb 28, In bangalore. At age of 3, we moved to Krishnagiri. 

My father was a business man, and my mother accountant, but she dropped job to educate me. She told me she was bored about BASIC language.

At school, at 3rd grade, I was taken into computer lab. I had preplanned ideas on what I would do, but lost interest after I was shown computer graphics. MOV command was fascinating

At three I was put in tuition for Tamil language as my mother had to spend time with my new born sister. The tuition teacher had very litter students, he was traditional , strict and orthodox. Very sooner, he picked me to the school and back home.

At sixth grade, we had to move to my mothers place. while I scored good marks in previous school, I learnt that I just need to get pass marks to escape trouble but I can learn extras for my hobbies. my learnings outside school expanded. Lots of experiments.

At ninth grade, I joined a local computer science center. Learnt c and c++. Didnt show interest in web. I showed interest in animation, but my uncle insisted that I learn programing language. I passed 10th and higher matriculation with good grade of 88%. Thanks to Maths, Physics, Chemistry for good marks.

Joined mechanical engineering, but due to regional error, I had to pickup computer science or electronics. Picked computer science. I had very few friends, I had some ideas but due to time and lack of communication skill of putting thoughts to words, I wasn't there yet.

I cleared on campus interview and joined CTS as programmer analyst in the year 2013. I had no clue about corporate or outside world. A friend explained about situation and we both moved out to get a programming job. I picked javascript as it had less interview questions.

Ideas about making machine work for me got polluted due to automation, biased thoughts from people I met. I got my first job as programmer due to a friends help of Kyle thomson js prototype video tutorial.

I didnt ask how he found it, but I wanted to find that from scratch. 

Worked at a company called Ness technologies, then ericsson, then Victoria secretes.

In the year 2018 I built a cross framework code generator after designing and figuring out a component composition technique. I got lost when team took decision to move with react when I insisted to go with my technique.

Then I joined SAP Labs as I was aware of UI5. I miscalculated that they would be having a design system builder. two years busted there.

Then I joined Warner bros Discovery. To compete with Netflix engineers. And to my hiring manager I pitched an idea of making the machine work for us. AfFelt odd working at Bangalore.

July 2024, I had second burnout. Took break for three months after a repeated ligament injury. This injury had been happening to me over six years. I realized I have been doing the same pattern and had to change something.

During the break time, I could not waste  time.

Realized that is bad that I had to force my idea in some one else's company. which I had been repeating since the day one of my career. So during the break time, as a hobby I started paper works to start a company. UI-EDITOR OPC PVT LTD.

Its a One person Company.

Sep 2024, I went back to office, opened laptop, had a panic attack, opened email, sent resignation with a note that "I wont follow process to resign, consider this email as the final notice"

Nov 2024 - Officially done.

Making the machine to work for me is an ideal dream, but for this timeline, in my circumstance, building the design tool made sense.

I took an inspiration from my own concept of singularity and applied to current time.

Since Nov 2024 till today (6-Aug-2025) I built 4-5 concept of UI building UI. As hobby, As a break
